****

Ward, I  have talked to Bill King and have agreed upon Saturday May 11 at 1000 to 1300/1400 hours. End time is open depending on the interest. I have Lianne getting a room at City Hall booked for our use.

I went with 1000 hours to allow those from Vancouver Island to get the early ferry.

I am looking into lunch plans and wil let you know.

I need to know who plans to attend as Bill needs that. Also if I make lunch arrangements I will need numbers.

New Info

DID YOU KNOW:

The OCDP Interview Board Stage will soon take place and this message is intended to inform candidates on what to expect.

The Written Exam results will be distributed to the OCDP coordinators by May 16th and the OCDP Interview Boards are planned to begin on May 21st in some divisions. The exact dates of the OCDP boards in your division will be communicated to you through your division S&P Office.

To prepare for the interview, candidates are strongly encouraged to review Appendix II of the OCDP Procedures & Guidelines document, entitled OCDP Structured Interview Board - 2002 Cycle Guidelines for Candidates. It contains detailed information on this stage of the process. Here are some highlights of the changes made to this stage this year.

* This year, the Structured Interview will only contain behavior-based questions.

* In order to prepare their answers, candidates will be given 30 minutes to review the interview questions in a controlled environment prior to the board. Candidates will be provided paper and a pen to take notes during this 30 minute review. They will have access to their prepared notes during the interview, but will be required to surrender them once the interview has been completed.

* Interview schedules will be prepared by OCDP Coordinators in each division, once they receive the Written Exam results.

We wish you all the best for this stage of the process.
