Police Leadership in the 21st Century S/Sgt. Garth Wright of West Shore Detachment researched and located a report from the International Association of Chiefs (IACP) of Police on Police Leadership. This report was the result of a Leadership Conference in 1999 between a national "hand-picked" group of American Police executives. The examined, debated and discussed executive training; ethics; interagency/government commuications; customer service/satisfaction; etc. Pages 15 to 20 within the report deal with "Preparing for the Executive Role: Attributes and Developmental Requirements for Leadership"
