OCDP Study Group Leadership Research
1) In doing some research on the topic from the OCPS Intro and session
one, I have come across a few items that I would like to share with the class.
One useful website has been
http://www.workforce.com. An HR website from Workforce Magazine and HR
Journals. The basic site has good articles and info on topics such as core
competencies ETC. If you want access to the full research database you can join
for free and get a password to access.
One example of the info available is attached in word format. It lists
31 Core Competencies and the
associated common skill sets being used by businesses. Same as ours except it is
interesting to look at them from a different perspective.

2) Attached is my review of a book that I feel relates to our study for
the OCDP.

Change by John P. Kotter. I will bring a hard copy with me to the Feb
19 session but have sent it electronically in the event you wish to include this
