OCDP 2003 - 2004 Study Session #1
First OCDP Study Session
1400 hrs, Sept 4th, 2003, Richmond B.C.
The first study session is September
4th, 2003 at 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs at Room #M2.004, Richmond City
Hall.
Topics will be an overview of the OCDP 2004 cycle (Guest speaker
from Staffing will give presentation) and preparing your Application
Package (Due date before Sept 22, 2003).
The following is an offering of
volunteer study sessions for the 2004 OCDP (Officer Candidate Development
Program). These sessions are available to any interested Regular
or Civilian Member.
For remote (online) study, all session information, supporting documentation,
additional reading material and online study sessions will also
posted on the web at www.wardclapham.com
Whenever possible, attempts will be made to video tape the sessions.
These tapes will then be offered by mail to those employees that
missed the session or that are stationed at RCMP postings outside
the Lower Mainland of B.C. (including Liasion Officer Postings).
Details on obtaining these tapes will be posted on the web.
Further study sessions will be run every 2 to 4 weeks afterwards
at Richmond City Hall. Watch the web for details.
An abundance of Information and study material is already posted
on the website. A new addition to the website this year is a message
board with the posting of questions, answers and sharing of information.
No further "everyone e div" emails will be sent via ross
regarding further study sessions.

Also note that study sessions and background material for the NCO
promotional cycle is also posted on this website. Study sessions
for the NCO process are also being planned to start up in late September.
