Nanaimo BC - Vancouver Island Study Session
Wednesday January 25, 2006 1800 - 2100 hrs
To all interested members in Ladysmith, Nanaimo,
Gabriola, and Parksville and Central Island HP. Supt. Ward CLAPHAM
has agreed to come to Nanaimo on January 25th to present a seminar
on preparing for and writing the RCMP NCO Job Simulation Exercise.
The presentation will be held at the
Nanaimo Bowen Park Seniors Centre, Meeting Room #1, 500 Bowen Rd.
The Centre is located in Bowen Park at the south end across from
the cemetery. The doors will open
at 1730 hrs and the seminar will be from 1800 hrs until 2100. We
will be setting up and taking down the chairs and equipment and
cleaning up ourselves (that includes you). There will be no refreshments
served, so BYOWaterbottle.
This Seminar is also BYO handouts. The material
is on the website at http://www.wardclapham.com This site is a wealth
of information in itself and is highly recommended as a study aid.
Session #1 and #2 are found on this website.
You will have to print off these handouts and
bring them with you to the session. If you have indicated that you
would attend this session then I would ask you to honour that commitment
and ensure you make every effort to attend. There are many members
who can not, or are not, writing the JSE. Do some trading. We have
more space so far that is not committed so if you have not replied
yet, but would like to attend, send a return message so we can monitor
the numbers and not get in trouble with the Fire Department. I will
try to have the Seminar recorded for those who really can't attend
and we can try to get a copy to you. No promises on that at this
stage however.
Gene Pinnegar Sgt.
NCO i/c Nanaimo Municipal Traffic Services Office 250-754-2345 Cell
250-713-3105 will be AOL from 06/01/12-16
but will reply to any queries on 01/17
